The Bellato are not a native species of Novus. They come from a high gravity planet, which has caused them to be shorter then other races, but with a higher natural strength and speed. They are on a mission of conquest to incrase their trade contracts. They also use the art of "Force" with their specialty bieng HOLY force which is healing based.
Out of all other races, the Bellato have shown quite an affinity to technology as it is all throughout their culture. This fact alone is why we give them any credit to success at all. While their technological advances are impressive they are, as with all other species, made with many imperfections compared to our own technology.
The only noteable advanced that has made them any progress in the war for novus is thier MAU, or Mobile Action Unit, a giant pilotable mechonized robot. With its high power and endurance it can be difficult to fight for inexperienced soldiers. However when faced with veteran soldiers their weakness comes to light. They cannot win a 1 on 1 fight against an experienced soldier. I tell you this from experience recruits, many MAU have fell to my weapons. |
