What color should I paint my bathroom?
I will paint my master bath in my new (to me) condo, I got the ugly wallpaper off and the walls were painted this awful yellow color before. Its a pretty small bathroom without windows. Just a single sink vanity, shower / bath, toilet chair. I get removed the ugly faux gold-colored fixtures and replace them silver (towel racks, tp, paper holder, light). The Floor is vynal flooring is white with a neutral colored pattern. When I do this in the form of a shoe string budget, I thought just painting it white and make a few small things for now, until I decided to completely re-do one day, but I kinda think it is strange. We painted the rest of the place in neutral colors. Its a 2BR 1.5 bath condo.
Many times I have painted half-bath, normally used to guest bath ... in deeper colors. Brick red, deep green fern, dark mocha brown. deep colors always look nice, make the bathroom dramatic yet cozy. If you liked a particular accent color in your home, you can use it for the walls in the tiny bathroom. Paint over existing paint with a primer tinted to 1 / 4 the new color. For example, if you choose a deep Mocha, you will get primer tinted in this color only ask the paint department to use 1 / 4 tint. That way, your deep color cover very well. I always use eggshell or satin in the bathrooms. And always latex (water base) Olympic makes a very nice little odor 0 VOC paint for $ 21. one gallon.
