Shelves Bathroom
No space in my bathroom?
I just moved into a new place. I got annoyed cause the guest bathroom in our house has so much storage space with cabinets ect. but in my bathroom there is hardly space to put my toothbrush. There is no cabinets or shelves at all.
Right now I need to save up some money before installing shelves/cabinets in the bathroom, so do you guys have any ideas for storage space where I can keep my things?
I had this problem in a college apartment years ago. I bought some wire baskets and put all my shampoo, shaver, deodorant, hair spray, gel, etc., in them. I also put clean, folded towels in another. I kept them in my bedroom in a little nook and just took them into the bathroom when I showered or bathed. It worked fine. This was definitely a temporary apartment for me, so I was not about to spend money on improving it for the landlord. If you plan on staying in this place for awhile, I think you're on the right track to save up and install cabinets when you can afford it. Shelves, on the other hand, can be cheap, and that might be something very easy to put above the toilet. You could put your shampoo and toilet articles there, probably within reach of the bathtub. (I couldn't do that, because we had a towel rack above the toilet.) Hope this helps. Check out Target...they have a lot of really inexpensive products for bathrooms, too.
